Frequently asked questions

Where can I check my balance?

You can check the balance on your Het Duurzame Cadeau Cadeaukaart on the Het Duurzame Cadeau Cadeaukaart website.

What is the validity period of the Het Duurzame Cadeau Cadeaukaart?

Het Duurzame Cadeau Cadeaukaart is valid for three years.

The gift card can be renewed for an administrative fee up to one (1) year after the expiry date. The procedure for this is outlined on the website. The gift card can be renewed until the credit has been used up, subject to payment of the administrative fee. For a gift card with a credit of €20 or less, the administrative fee is €3.50. For the renewal of a gift card with a balance higher than €20, the administration fee is €5.

If renewal is possible, a new digital gift card will be issued. This digital gift card takes the form of a ‘new code’. The original gift card is then no longer valid. The amount corresponding to the new digital gift card is the remaining balance that was on the original gift card as the ‘last known balance’. The new digital gift card has the same validity period as the old gift card. All fees must be paid separately and cannot be deducted from the remaining balance on the gift card.

How can I redeem the (remaining) balance of my Het Duurzame cadeau Cadeaukaart for a refund?

If you have a Het Duurzame Cadeau Cadeaukaart that you do not wish to spend at aparticipating redemption location, you can redeem it via Intersolve, in accordance with the consumer terms and conditions.

Refunds for gift cards are possible within the validity period and subject to payment of an administration fee. The fee for processing refunds is €10 per gift card.

Requests for a refund can be made directly to the programme manager by telephone or via the contact form.

For all refund requests, the card must be sent by registered post to the programme manager, at the cardholder’s expense, stating the following details:

  • Name, address and town/city
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • IBAN number

  • Name of the account holder

Refund requests addressed to Intersolve Payments will be forwarded to Wonderbox as agreed. Should Wonderbox, for any reason, be unable to process these requests (in a timely manner), the obligation to comply with a refund request remains with Intersolve Payments, which will then be required to process the request.‍
