Frequently asked questions

What is the validity period of the Boekenbon?

For Boekenbon gift cards sold before 1 November 2017, the validity period stated on the back of the Boekenbon gift card applies.

For Boekenbon gift cards sold on or after 1 November 2017, a validity period of three (3) years applies.

How can I redeem the (remaining) balance of my Boekenbon?

If you have a Boekenbon that you do not wish to spend at a participating store or whose validity period has expired, you can redeem it via Intersolve, in accordance with the consumer terms and conditions.

Costs associated with redeeming your balance are applicable: during the validity period of your gift card and from 12 months after the end of the validity period, €10.00 per card will be deducted from the balance upon payout.

You can only redeem gift cards if the Intersolve logo or the Feet logo is printed on the back of the card. Gift cards without such a logo cannot be redeemed via Intersolve.

To prevent fraud, we unfortunately have to impose a number of restrictions when redeeming gift cards:

  • The money can only be transferred to a personal bank account. Transfers to a business account are not possible.
  • You can have a maximum of five cards paid out per calendar year.
